Middlebury South Village


Welcome

Middlebury South Village is a 31 acre mixed use development located at the southern gateway to the village of Middlebury, Vermont on the west side of U.S. Rte. 7. Now under construction, this 'smart-growth' neighborhood provides a great location (with easy walking distance to major employers, the county’s largest shopping center, schools and recreation), ample parking, energy-efficient new construction, and a well-landscaped setting.

Components of this new neighborhood are:

Commercial

  • Chittenden Bank’s new 8,000sf branch and regional headquarters for Addison County is under construction (see the aerial photos) and will be opening late winter or early spring of 2008.
  • Fully permitted pads for:

Residential

  • 29 ‘Village Home’ lots on Field and Creek Roads (see site plan). These 1,400sf – 1,800sf homes are being built on ¼ acre lots by The Snyder Companies www.snydercompanies.com.
  • 27 ‘Cottage Home’ lots on Cottage Lane. These 1,200sf – 1,400sf homes are being built on 1/8 acre lots by Neighbor Works of Western Vermont www.nwwvt.org.
  • 30 one and two bedroom rental apartments off Lacrosse Drive. These are being constructed by Housing Vermont www.hvt.org.
